4-week group classes for beginner obedience.

We believe basic obedience is one of the most important activities to share with your pup. Training deepens the bond between owner and pup and lays the groundwork for a harmonious relationship. Our class sizes are limited to ensure that you and your pup receive as much one-on-one attention as you may need.

In our 4-week Fido’s Life Skills, pups learn useful everyday commands such as come, loose leash walking, sit, lay down, place, wait, take, leave it and off.

Once you and your pup have the basics down, you will have the opportunity to move on to our 10-week Fido’s Advanced Life Skills. Here we will build on the skills learned in beginner class and transform that knowledge into freedom from the leash for you and your pup.

If group classes do not fit into your schedule, we also offer a board and train opportunity and day training. With these options, we will do the work to train your pup and equip them with the skills to be off leash with basic obedience.

Fido’s Life Skills - $175

1 hour class - 1 day per week for 4 weeks. Classes limited to 8 dogs ages 6 months and up.

Fido’s Advanced Life Skills - $350 for 10 Classes

Additional 10 package class bundle $200.

90 minute class offered twice per week
Classes limited to 20 dogs. Individual class sign up required

Canine Good Citizen class - $225 for 7 weeks includes CGC test ($25.00 Value)

The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for teaching good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their companions.

Our Canine Good Citizen class is a 6-week course with a non-competitive test given on the 7th week. Taught by an AKC evaluator, this class will focus on refining the skills needed to pass the CGC test. Class participation requires completion of Fido’s Life Skills class or evaluation of your pups obedience skills.

The CGC Test consists of:

Accepting a friendly stranger
Sitting Politely for Petting
Appearance and Grooming
Walking on a Loose Leash
Walking Through a Crowd
Sit and Down on Cue/Staying in Place
Coming When Called
Reaction to Another Dog
Reaction to Distractions
Supervised Separation

Day Training - $45 per day

Drop your pup off in the morning for three sessions of training + 2 hours of day care and pick up a mentally and physically satisfied puppy in the evening.

Pups must be neutered or spayed if over 6 months and must play well with other pups to participate in day care

Board & Train - $1750

Pups are taught useful everyday commands such as come, loose leash walking, sit, lay down, place, wait, take, leave it and off - both on leash and off-leash. Quick learners can assimilate these commands within 14 days……more stubborn pups may take a few days longer. At pickup there will be a two-hour training session for you to be trained on all the commands your pup has mastered.

To keep your pup sharp with their obedience, 5 off-leash group classes are included in the price. Additional group class packages will be offered to all graduates: 10 classes for $200.
